Stable Hands
Do you love working with animals and spending time outdoors? At Gallop To Growth, our therapy horses are at the heart of everything we do — and we’re looking for dedicated, reliable Stable Hands to help care for them.
No experience necessary — we’ll train the right person!
As a Stable Hand, you’ll play an essential role in supporting our equine-assisted therapy programs by keeping our herd healthy, happy, and ready to work with clients. You’ll be part of a supportive team committed to making a difference in the lives of individuals, families, and veterans through the power of horses.
What You'll Do:
- Feed, water, and care for our therapy horses
- Clean stalls, paddocks, and arenas
- Assist with grooming and basic horse care
- Help maintain a safe, organized barn environment
You In Return Will:

Become a Gallop Guardian — Volunteer With Us
At Gallop To Growth, our therapy horses help transform lives — but they can’t do it alone. That’s where you come in. Through our Gallop Guardians Volunteer Program, you’ll become part of a compassionate, supportive team dedicated to making a difference.
Whether you have experience with horses or are brand-new to the barn, there’s a place for you here. We’ll provide training to ensure you feel confident and connected in your role.
As a Gallop Guardian, You'll:
- Help care for our therapy horses
- Assist with grooming, feeding, and barn upkeep
- Support equine-assisted therapy and learning sessions
- Be part of community events and outreach programs
- Experience the healing power of horses while helping others

Practicum Placements 2026-2027!
Our Clinical Director has been approved as a Field Instructor and will have openings for MSW students for this coming sc hool year, 2026-2027. We will be at the Practicum Expo on Jan. 29-30, 2026. Interested students are to apply with the school.
Equine Science Internship Program - Utah State University
