We are excited to open enrollment for our Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) Group Programs starting this January and February. These groups offer a powerful blend of connection, emotional growth, and experiential learning—all supported by our licensed clinicians and our healing herd of therapy horses.
Each group is designed to help participants strengthen emotional regulation, build confidence, improve communication, and gain deeper insight into themselves—all through hands-on experiences with the horses. No riding is involved; sessions are entirely ground-based and accessible for all experience levels.
Our EAP groups are especially supportive for teens, adults, and veterans navigating:
Working alongside horses creates natural opportunities for awareness, reflection, and positive change. The horses respond to participants in real time, offering honest feedback that helps clients see their patterns clearly and practice new emotional and relational skills in a safe, supportive environment.
Space is limited in each group to maintain a personalized, impactful experience.
If you’re ready to start the new year with clarity, support, and a renewed sense of direction, our EAP groups offer a powerful and transformative way forward.

Gallop To Growth is excited to announce that our Clinical Director, Chris Finch, LCSW, is now an approved Field Instructor for the University of Utah’s Master of Social Work program. We are officially accepting practicum students for the 2026–2027 academic year, and we’ll be participating in the University of Utah’s 2026 Practicum Expo for second-year MSW students.
We invite all interested students to stop by our table, meet our team, and learn more about the unique practicum experience we offer—including hands-on training in Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP), trauma-informed practice, group facilitation, and holistic mental health care within a growing clinical program.
