Chandice Parkinson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a deep commitment to helping others heal through meaningful therapeutic relationships—both human and equine. With a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Utah and years of clinical experience in individual, group, and family therapy, Chandice brings a well-rounded and compassionate approach to her work at Gallop To Growth.
Her equine experience began in childhood, riding her grandmother’s horses and spending time on a Wyoming ranch where she often assisted wranglers in caring for large draft horses. Though her horse background has been informal, Chandice has always felt drawn to these powerful and intuitive animals, and she’s thrilled to now integrate them into her professional work. She believes in the healing potential that comes from partnering with horses and is excited to help clients grow through this unique form of therapy.
Clinically, Chandice specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and she has supported diverse populations through roles in outpatient clinics, hospitals, aging services, and community organizations. Her calm presence, collaborative spirit, and strong clinical foundation make her a trusted guide for clients on their path to growth and healing—especially with the help of horses.
